Running Creek Cottage is a 100+ year old farm house located on a 670-acre cattle farm and home of Running Creek Beef.

Sleeping up to 4 adults and 2 children surrounded by the breath-taking McPherson ranges, this fully self-contained home with its modern country style is complimented by spectacular farm scenery from every window.

A two-bedroom self-contained home, the front sleep out gives you additional bedding so that the house can sleep up to 6 people with a master Queen room, 2 single beds in one room and a double configuration on the sleep-out/veranda. NB: No camping or additional persons permitted.

The well-equipped single bathroom and toilet come with a rain-head shower, toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, body soaps and towels.

Fill your days roaming the surrounding country-side enjoying locally produced products and farm-gate experiences or stay onsite enjoying the mountain-spring water filled Running Creek, as you swim, kayak, fish, spot the turtles, platypus and spectacular bird-life in this beautiful creek. Relax under the Cottage’s pergola and get back in touch with nature as you watch the cattle and horses play at your fence.

BBQ delicious grass-fed beef whilst you enjoy the local farmers and producers cheese, wine and produce. Terms and Conditions

If cancellation is more than 30 days prior to the arrival date any fees paid will be fully refunded. Cancellation less than 30 days prior to arrival will forfeit all monies paid. Transfer of booking and payment to other dates will be considered under extenuating circumstances and if requested 14 days or more from the arrival date. Travel Insurance is recommended to protect you against the unknown. Risks & Safety Requirements of Guests & Visitors to Running Creek Cottage & Running Creek Beef Farm: As a farm is inherently an unsafe environment guests must be aware of the risks. At a minimum guests are required to where closed-in shoes when exploring the farm at all times. A light weight shoe is HIGHLY recommended to be worn when in the creek. Long pants are also recommended when walking in the grass. Snakes are present on the farm especially in warmer weather so awareness is vital. Whilst sightings are not common guests are advised not to sit on fallen logs put their hands in small dark places outside and to always look where they are walking. Children must be heavily supervised at all times as the Cottage fence is designed to keep the cattle and horses out but not the children in. Additionally Running Creek is unfenced and accessible thus presenting a drowning hazard to children. Once again children of any age and also teenagers must be supervised to ensure their safety. Swinging off tress or jumping into the creek is NOT allowed and highly dangerous. A small amount of firewood is provided to get you set-up however after that you are welcome to collect wood from around the farm or you can purchase more from us for $10 a bag. Behaviour around grazing stock including cattle and horses: Our cattle and horses that graze around the cottage if not rushed at or cornered do not pose any real threat to guests however if provoked yelled at deliberately approached or targeted with thoughtless behaviour will become skittish and
