Shivapuri Heights Cottages provide an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of the City whilst having the advantage of being only 30 minutes drive plus a short walk away from the city centre. Situated in the Himalayan foothills at an altitude of just under 6000 feet and surrounded by trees this Kathmandu homestay allows for tranquil rejuvenation in a quiet rural setting without traffic jams and urban pollution. Enjoy healthy home cooked meals made with fresh locally grown ingredients. Stretch your legs whilst hiking to nearby Monasteries. We welcome both individual travellers and small groups. Three rooms in our main Cottage, two in our smaller Cottage and two rooms in our Jasmin House provide comfortable accommodation to suit a variety of budgets. Our south facing terraces provide an ideal place to laze in the sun and read a book from our extensive library. The Cottages are equipped with solar heated water, wireless internet, music player and television (on request). Our rates include both room and breakfast and unlimited tea/instant coffee.
