A 320 acre privately owned Conservation and Recreation Park. Rural setting away from the highway. Small camping ground with 3 separate areas each max capacity of 75 people. Recreation activities on site.

We are a privately owned conservation and recreation park. We provide a camping place for visitors to stay, spend the day, maybe several, visit our Milky Way Glowworm Cave, go bush walking, bouldering or rock climbing, swimming in the river, and much more, relax and have a break at our park.

We are about 15 minutes from the beaches of Ruakaka, Urititi, Waipu Cove, and the towns of Waipu and Ruakaka.


We are in a sheltered valley which does not get much wind. If it is windy at the beach it will likely be sheltered here.


We are a Destination, NOT A STOP OVER.


This means if you are intending to arrive late and leave early the next day to go somewhere else without spending any time here, then we recommend you stay somewhere else that is more suited to your style of travel.


People who come late and leave early are disruptive to other people who want to stay, relax and enjoy our park.


You should arrive before 10pm and be setup so you do not disturb other people.
